Review │MUA Power Pout Lip Tints

These are the ''MUA (make up academy) Power Pouts''. I picked a few of these up not so long ago and i loved them so much that i had to buy the rest in the collection (unfortunately there's one that i still can't get hold of anywhere) but will definitely pick it up once i can get my hands on it.

The Power pouts are a mix of a lip balm and stain in the form of a retractable lip crayon. Which is perfect for your handbag/purse. These are amazing, they feel super smooth and moisturising on the lips and for the extremely reasonable price of £3.00 each you really can't go wrong.

MUA say "the Power Pout is a lip treatment with colour intensity that relieves dry, cracked lips, providing immediate moisturisation. The handy pencil-style applicator provides easy to apply sheer soft lip colour and rolls up for easy use."

As you can see these are one of the many balm stain lip crayons, very similar to the ever so popular ''Revlon Kissable Balm Stains'' and the ''Clinique Chubby Sticks''. These are amazing and in my opinion a million times nicer than the Revlon ones and quite a bit cheaper. They feel alot nicer than the Revlon ones and also last a lot longer on the lips. I'm not so sure how they compare to the Clinique Chubby Sticks as I've never tried them but from what I've heard they are quite similar.

These along with the "Maybelline Baby Lips" have been the only lip products i have been reaching for recently. My favourite shade out of the five i have is "Irreplaceable" which is a bubblegum pink type of colour and i love it.

There are six shades in the collection which are:
Irreplaceable - Lilac bubblegum pink
Rendezvous - Peachy pink nude
Broken Hearted - Pink
Justify - Coral pink
Crazy in Love - Maroon/Plum
Runway - Red (the one i still need to find)

Left to Right; "Irreplaceable", "Broken Hearted", "Justify", "Rendezvous",
And "Crazy In Love".
I couldn't recommend these enough, if you can get your hands on them then please do, you wont be disappointed and for only £3.00 they are an absolute bargain!
You can purchase the power pouts from any superdrug store and also the official make up academy store
muastore.co.uk.

Have you tried any of the mua power pouts? What are your thoughts?

  1. I'ved never tried MUA before, but these look really similar to the Revlon just bitten kissable lip tints! These are a much cheaper alternative though! Glad they worked well on you :)
